Target Dummy Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 (Testing Your Damage)

It’s hard to know how much damage you’re doing when you one shot everything! Thankfully, Target Dummy is here to save the day. Target Dummy Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 adds in an entity that will read out your damage output.

How to use:

To start, you’re going to need to craft a Target Dummy item:

Right-click on a block to spawn in the Target dummy entity. Attack it with any weapon and your damage will be displayed above the target’s head. (To retrieve the target, shift + right-click on it. )

How to install:

1. Download and Install Minecraft Launcher Vanilla
2. Download and Install Fabric Installer for Vanilla Launcher
3. Run recently downloaded .jar file, choose the version you want and press “Install.”
4. Run Minecraft, select the profile with Fabric installed and press Play
5. Press Start on Desktop
6. Choose Run
7. Type %appdata% onto Run and press Enter.
8. Goes into Roaming/.minecraft/mods
9. Put the jar. Files onto the mod folder and run Minecraft.
