Dot Coin Mod 1.17.1 implements coins that are impossible to craft into Minecraft and can only be obtained through defeating mobs and entities. Overall, there are four types of coins, each with its own percentage of dropping upon the defeat of a mob. The idea behind this system is to create a healthy economic system for the game, which can’t be replicated using orthodox emeralds as they can be farmed throughout the entire game. Furthermore, players can converse these coins and trade them for a coin that has higher value to free up any inventory space that they want to put other items into. Utilizing Dot Coin, players can trade freely with villagers and among the friend group without having to worry about anyone hoarding a large number of coins.

How to install:
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
