Halcyon runs on 16x resolution which is exactly the same pixel size as the vanilla textures of Minecraft. All the textures are also based on the developer’s art.
The pack ambitiously aims to master and perfect the current textures and resources of Minecraft through redoing all of the original pixel art and making them look better.
Overall the pack runs amazingly fast and it can provide players with a whole new feel once used. You can even run BSL Shaders together with this pack and have zero FPS drops.
Is Halcyon 16x Worth the Download
Yes! We truly appreciate the time and effort Jesha has taken to remaster all of the textures that the original artist from Mojang has done. This pack amazingly looks beautiful and sassy.
It looks great, it has great FPS, and it runs perfectly on about almost any computer in the world. Might even run with a toaster for all I know.
We recommend this texture pack to all Minecraft purists who enjoy playing the game the way Mojang has originally visualized it.
Despite this pack being technically just the vanilla texture pack we still recommend that you download Optifine first to make sure you won’t meet any problems.
