The Natural Progression 1.16.5-1.14.4 is a whole set of tweaks that will make your survival more realistic. Together with the modification to start the game you will need to find stones, get sticks, breaking leaves, breaking stones to get flint, create primitive types of tools and only then proceed to the extraction of wood (but it will be impossible to do it with your hand).
