Overworld Quartz Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 adds quartz into to the overworld. Quartz from the overworld requires a Stone pick or higher, and has the same spawn rate as iron ore. It drops 1 nether quartz per ore block. If mined with Silk Touch, you can smelt the ore into nether quartz.

How to install Overworld Quartz Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5
- Download and install Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod.
- Go to %appdata%.
- Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
- If the “mods” folder does not exist you can create one.
- Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into that.
- Enjoy the mod.
