This 8x resolution resource pack was developed and created by the pack maker which goes by the alias CheezLordy. Although it is a fast pack, it’s not exactly a good fit for UHC PvP.
He created this pack for the purpose of providing an alternative yet vibrant way of making your frame rates faster without heavily damaging the overall aesthetic value.
This pack utilizes colors exclusively from his the AAP-64 palette which is used by plenty of the vintage games or vintage themed games.
Based from the looks of this pack we can say that he has dedicated some time and effort in making Pollachius as vibrant as it is. You can even use any of the top shaders for Minecraft to make it more alive.
Is 8x Pollachius Resource Pack Worth the Download
To be honest we are not personal fans of this pack however if you are trying to make Minecraft look even more blocky than before or perhaps trying to get better FPS through a low resolution pack then this would be perfect.
This resource pack has blazing fast frame rates per second and is not too bad in terms of overall aesthetics. Not a fan of the leaves design but everything else looks great.
Overall it has a nice and optimistic approach to it. Since it can boost your FPS greatly you might even want to use SEUS together with it to make it look great.
This pack runs at half of the default resolutions of vanilla Minecraft which is why we recommend you download Optifine first before trying to install this texture pack.
At the same time, getting Optifine can also give you that extra kick in FPS as it helps optimize the game’s visuals further to make it run faster.
