What is Shadowfacts’ Forgelin?

This is Shadowfacts’ Forgelin. Shadowfacts’ Forgelin provides a Kotlin language adapter for Forge and bundles the Kotlin standard library, reflect library, and runtime. It allows you to write Minecraft mods in a modern JVM-based language that runs on all major platforms. Shadowfacts’ Forgelin will allow you to take advantage of many of the features from Java 8 such as lambda expressions, which are not possible with regular Java code without some serious hacks or special libraries like Retrolambda. This can make your life easier by eliminating boilerplate code and making it easier to understand what the heck your mod is doing!

Provides a Kotlin language adapter for Forge and bundles the Kotlin standard, reflect, coroutines, and runtime libraries.

How to install Shadowfacts’ Forgelin Mod With Forge

1. Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge
2. Download Forgelin Mod for your version of the game.
3. Locate the Minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the Start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On macOS open finder, hold down ALT, and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
   • Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
5. Enjoy.

5 steps to successfully install Forge Minecraft

1. Access and Download select Minecraft forge version, then download the installer.
