Smarter Farmers Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 ameliorates the AI of one of the most important NPCs in the game, The Farmer. Usually, these farmers tend to hold an important job in the village, which is to plant crops and harvest them so that the villagers won’t starve out. From now on, these Farmers can replant crops if some dubious Steve goes and steal the precious wheat. Furthermore, if no crops are being planted, these farmers will pick out a new type of seed. With these implementations, players will feel the immersion in the game way more than before. Treat them well from now on, as they are more inclined to have a mind of their own that you, an ordinary person could never be able to comprehend.

Minecraft Forge

How to install:

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
