Features:

This mod adds a total of five different types of lifts. These are the following:

Lifts (Large)

This is the default type of lift that you’ll find in your world. This lift is capable of carrying up to ten blocks at once and will rise up and down at a maximum speed of one block per second. This lift can also be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world.

Lifts (Small)

This is the smallest type of lift that you’ll find in your world. This lift has a capacity of only two blocks, but can still be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world. The small size means that this lift can’t carry as many blocks at once as other types of lifts, which may make it difficult for you to transport large amounts of items at once. However, this isn’t usually an issue because most items that you’ll want to transport aren’t very large or heavy.

Lifts (Medium)

This is the largest type of lift that you’ll find in your world. This lift is capable of carrying up to ten blocks at once and will rise up and down at a maximum speed of two blocks per second. In addition, this lift can also be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world. The medium size means that this lift can carry more than the other types of lifts, which will make it easier for you to transport large amounts of items at once. However, this isn’t usually an issue because not many items are large or heavy enough for you to need to transport them with this type of lift.

Lifts (Suspended)

This is the smallest type of lift that you’ll find in your world. This lift has a capacity of only two blocks, but can still be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world. The small size means that this lift can’t carry as many blocks at once as other types of lifts, which may make it difficult for you to transport large amounts of items at once. However, this isn’t usually an issue because not many items are large or heavy enough for you to need to transport them with this type of lift.

Lifts (Suspended – Vertical)

Similar to the previous lift, but this one is capable of carrying up to eight blocks at once and will rise up and down at a maximum speed of two blocks per second. In addition, this lift can also be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world. The small size means that this lift can’t carry as many blocks at once as other types of lifts, which may make it difficult for you to transport large amounts of items at once. However, this isn’t usually an issue because not many items are large or heavy enough for you to need to transport them with this type of lift.

Lifts (Suspended – Horizontal)

This lift is capable of carrying up to eight blocks at once and will rise up and down at a maximum speed of two blocks per second.

Lifts (Water)

This is the largest type of lift that you’ll find in your world. This lift is capable of carrying up to ten blocks at once and will rise up and down at a maximum speed of two blocks per second. In addition, this lift can also be used as a platform to jump onto to reach higher areas in your world. The small size means that this lift can’t carry as many blocks at once as other types of lifts, which may make it difficult for you to transport large amounts of items at once. However, this isn’t usually an issue because not many items are large or heavy enough for you to need to transport them with this type of lift.

Walking on water will require a solid platform underneath your feet. Simply place a solid block in the water, then walk on it until your feet touch the block.

FAQ

Q: How does this mod affect the vanilla game?

A: It doesn’t! This mod is meant to be used alongside the official game. If you want to use it with a custom world, then you are free to do so, but you are not required to.

Q: Why can’t I see an elevator in my dimension?

A: This is most likely because the elevator is located in an area that isn’t accessible by your current dimension. You can fix this by placing a teleporter on the area that you want people to be able to get into. You can also use the TeleportToWorld function on a spawner (see documentation for more information).

Q: What about other dimensions? Can I just place these lifts anywhere and make them accessible from any dimension?

A: Yes! You can place them wherever you like, as long as they aren’t in an area that’s not accessible by your world’s dimensions. For example, if you’re in a 1.8 dimension, then you can place the lifts anywhere, but if you’re in a 2.1 dimension, you can’t place the lifts in an area that’s not accessible by your dimensions.

Q: What about placing them inside of structures?

A: Yes! Just follow the above instructions and make sure to place them on an exterior surface, such as a roof or a wall.

Q: When I place a lift it looks like it’s all black and I can’t see anything, what gives?

A: This is because the lift is placed on top of another block (or blocks) that are blocking your view of it. If you’re having trouble seeing your lifts, then try placing one more block beneath them so that they are completely visible.

Q: What about when I’m using PermissionsEx? Is this mod safe to use with PermissionsEx?

A: No! This mod does not use any permissions
