With the Tool Belt 1.17.1-1.12.2 modification, you can create your own belt with various tools, it can be worn up to nine items (of course after a full upgrade) and you can switch between them through a special new menu using the R button.
A nice addition is the fact that the first two items lying in the front zone are visible on the player. The belt is a little better than the double bar mod, because it has some logic and cosmetic purposes.
